Biography
Nicole Bender is Titular Professor and research group leader at the Institute of Evolutionary Medicine at the University of Zurich. Since 2016 she leads the Clinical Evolutionary Medicine Group and specialised on the evolution and health impact of human nutrition and body composition. Nicole Bender studied medicine at the University of Bern, where she also earned an MD PhD in behavioural ecology in 2006. She specialised in prevention and public health at the Institute of Social and Preventive Medicine of the University of Bern where she worked until 2016.
